The Mall - London 1911/1924

Description

Standing as the tallest momument to Royalty in the United Kingdom, this 104ft wide 82ft tall statue includes an amazing amount of symbols. The monument is the centerpiece of the ubran planning of The Mall and the surrounding gardens (Webb). It includes additional statues of Winged Victory (globe, victor's palm), Constancy (compass), Courage (club), Empire (eagle with expanded wings), Motherhood, Justice, Truth, Lions, Peace, Progress, Agriculture and Manufacture. It has a nautical theme.
