Title
Newcastle, 1903
Description
Queen Victoria sits underneath a canopy on her throne. The statue is made from bronze. It's now weathered due over a century of exposure to the elements. Pink granite base. It is located adjacent to St. Nicolas' Cathedral. The statue faces west so her back isn't towards the cathedral and townhall (considered insulting to church and state).
